Hootenanny!

every monday night in jackson is the infamous "hootenanny," an open mike night where anyone can come sign up to play a 2 song set. you get all kinds of performers - lots of guitars, harmonicas, bluegrass, country, and then some more eclectic moments (like dramatic poetry readings) or last week's sitar player.

we thought i'd be the perfect way for morgan & morgan to end their jackson hole adventure. john worked up the courage to play a few weeks ago, and has been a hit ever since. he wooed the crowd with his version of garth brook's classic "she's every woman" and had everyone clapping along to "before you accuse me." it's definitely become one of our favorite things to do and a great way to kick off our tues/wed "weekend."

if you come out and visit us this fall/winter, the hoot moves inside (like next week) so everyone can still get the hoot experience. super excited and definitely gonna have to get turner and david to play when they both come out!
