Katie & Michael

that's right, we are still alive. i seem to be failing at this whole updating the blog thing, and wouldn't be surprised if we lost all 5 of our followers (since the last time i blogged was in february). i have really been putting my "free" time (whatever that means) in to working on my Ashley Merritt Photography website, and hope to have that live in the next month or so. but going to try not to treat this blog like the ugly stepchild, and maybe actually update it more than once a month. or three.

thought it was totally suitable to make our comeback with a few pictures from katie & michael's visit earlier this month. for anyone that knows katie really well, they understand what a big deal this trip was. if you don't know her, you're probably thinking what's the big deal. katie hates being cold. she does not enjoy cold weather. she is not a big fan of wearing everything she owns to stay warm outside. so the fact that she and michael spent half of her spring break (which was still more like winter here in jackson hole) is a very big deal. it was certainly a relaxing vacation, since there are very few things to do in the beginning of april in jackson that don't involve being cold. but we did manage to brave the cold weather for just a little while, and took them sledding over at Snow King. it was hilarious, and super icy and slick, which makes for seriously fast sledding. i used michael's flip to take some videos, and i need to get that from him to share with y'all. but for now, enjoy a couple holga shots from their adventure.

john didn't shrink. the kid on the left (griffin, aka dylan) is 9 years old and a crazy talented sledder. he put everyone else to shame...just wait for the videos.
