everyone should have a mentor as amazing as mine. during our last trip back to the carolinas, i had the awesome opportunity to spend the afternoon in g-boro with kellie, an incredible lifestyle/wedding photographer who i briefly worked for while i was in winston. we sat down and discussed all things business, and she basically kicked my butt into getting out there and starting it. she is so right, it is really scary to start your own business, but super exciting and fun at the same time. i'm so grateful for the time with her, to learn a lot from her experiences starting out, and hopefully by-passing some of the things that don't work out so well.
anyway, at the end of our session, she took some pictures so i can use them for my up-and-coming website, promo materials, or whatever. thought i'd pass them along.
